McNicol Ballet Collective

Here & Now

Celebrate McNicol Ballet Collective’s five-year anniversary with a compelling programme featuring a striking new work alongside excerpts from acclaimed pieces in the company’s repertoire.

At the heart of the evening is Liquid Life, a captivating new ballet by Yorkshire-born Artistic Director Andrew McNicol, set to an evocative score by composer Jeremy Birchall, performed live by a string quartet. Blending fluid movement with dynamic musicality, Liquid Life explores the ebb and flow of human connection, brought to life with costumes by Louise Flanagan and lighting by Yaron Abulafia.

The programme also features excerpts from McNicol’s celebrated works Of Silence, Bates Beats and Moonbend, showcasing the choreographer’s signature style and the extraordinary versatility of the dancers.

Join us for an evening of expressive, thought-provoking ballet that marks a milestone in the company’s journey – celebrating five years of bold, beautiful dance.

Running time 1 hour and 20 minutes (including 20 minute interval)
