Designed for dance schools, and colleges offering dance qualifications, we offer workshops and masterclasses to bring the professional world a step closer to your students.
From technique and body conditioning to repertoire and characterisation, we work with you to design and deliver a session to inspire and motivate your dancers to fulfil their potential. All sessions reflect the vibrancy and creativity seen in our productions and are delivered by Northern Ballet teaching artists. Options include either a half or full day and can include a live musician to accompany the workshop.
Repertoire Workshops
Workshops include a warm-up, classical ballet technique, production repertoire, characterisation and a cool down. You can choose from a range of Northern Ballet productions including Cinderella, Romeo & Juliet and The Nutcracker. Tailored to the level and experience of the group, they challenge both physically and creatively.
Technique Masterclasses
Masterclasses are delivered using the Ichino Technique, created by internationally acclaimed dancer and teacher, Yoko Ichino and used by the Company dancers daily. The sessions are well paced and will challenge your students as they learn new exercises and new approaches to their technical training.
