We’re thrilled to announce that The Royal Ballet Artist Charlotte Tonkinson is now an ambassador for the Academy of Northern Ballet. Charlotte began her training aged 11 as part of the Centre for Advanced Training under the direction of Yoko Ichino.
She joined The Royal Ballet’s Aud Jebsen Young Dancers Programme from the start of the 2016/17 and is now an Artist within the Company.
‘As a former CAT student I’m really excited to be the Academy of Northern Ballet’s Ambassador! My time in the Academy was incredible and I’m so grateful for the guidance and training I received. It’s so special to be able to carry on this wonderful connection with the Academy as this is where my journey of becoming a professional dancer started’
